| What did playing rugby teach you? | Not to get tackled or tackle anybody else, it hurts!! |

| Who was the Selby dressing room joker? | John Phillips once rubbed Ralgex on the inside of everybody's underpants. Nobody thought it was funny though! |
| Favourite player you’ve watched at Selby: | Ian Wilson, former 1st Team Full Back, I learned so much watching him as a youngster! |

| Why Selby RUFC? | It's my home Club and favourite place in the world! |
| Best match you’ve played in? | Really? For Selby, the Shield Final when I was Captain |
| Most memorable moment: | A phone call inviting me to go on Tour with England to Australia and Fiji in 1988 (as a player not just spectator!) |
| Funniest think you’ve seen on a rugby pitch: | Tony Rucklidge taking his pipe out of his pocket when waiting for an injury to be sorted out (I think he knew something!) |
